The official website for Shotaro Kobayashi's live-action adaptation of "Maestro" (out Jan 31, 2015) has been updated with a new 30-second teaser.
Based on a manga by Akira Saso, the film stars Tori Matsuzaka as a genius violinist named Kosaka who rejoins an orchestra which was originally disbanded in the wake of the recession. Toshiyuki Nishida co-stars as a mysterious conductor named Tendo whose unconventional style initially rubs Kosaka the wrong way, but eventually helps him gain confidence as a concertmaster.
